Short version: this website does not set any advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Because of that you will not see a cookie banner. The one third-party element that can set cookies, the Vimeo video, only loads after you click play.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, "PECR", regulation 6) says a website must get your consent before storing or accessing information on your device unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for.
2. Cookies set by this site
New Concept Installation Ltd does not set any cookies of its own on this site. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other analytics or advertising technology. The site does not use local storage.
Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie for security or load balancing (for example to block automated attacks). Such cookies are exempt from the consent requirement because the site cannot be delivered safely without them.
3. Third-party content: Vimeo
The "See it in action" video on the home page is hosted by Vimeo, Inc. To avoid Vimeo placing cookies before you have chosen to watch, the video player is not loaded when the page opens. You see a still image and a play button. When you click play:
- your browser connects to player.vimeo.com and Vimeo receives your IP address and browser details;
- Vimeo may set cookies such as
vuid(visitor identifier) andplayer(playback preferences); - we request the player with the "do not track" option (
dnt=1), which asks Vimeo not to use tracking cookies or share playback data with third parties, though Vimeo controls exactly what its player does.
Clicking play is how you give consent for this. If you do not want any contact with Vimeo, simply do not click play. To withdraw consent later, clear cookies for vimeo.com in your browser settings. Vimeo's own policies are at vimeo.com/privacy and vimeo.com/cookie_policy.

4. The quote form
Our form provider, Splitforms, receives the form when you press send. It does not place cookies on this site. It records your IP address and browser type with the submission to filter spam; see our privacy policy.
5. Fonts
The site's typeface is stored on our own server rather than loaded from Google Fonts, so no font request is sent to Google and no cookies result from it.
6. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Guidance for common browsers is at aboutcookies.org.uk. Blocking all cookies will not affect this site, since it does not rely on any.
7. If this changes
